I just wanted to share a few images from Sarah and Jason’s wedding.  They got married at beautiful Sunset Point in Sarasota.  Honestly, this has become my favorite location to do weddings- it’s small and private, but provides an amazing beach atmosphere and awesome sunsets, hence the name!  This couple included a lot of neat touches for their wedding day- they were so fun to work with and I hope you enjoy your images guys!  Here’s to a Happy, Healthy Life Together…

I had SUCH a great time taking K’s First Birthday pictures over the weekend!  Isn’t she a doll?  She worked the camera and we were done in less than an hour with no tears =)  She donned the cutest birthday dress, and even showed me how she can dance to her Fisher Price learning home songs!!  Too cute!!  I love taking Baby’s First Birthday portraits because it’s such a major milestone, and it marks the official graduation from baby to toddler.  Princess K, I hope you have a GREAT second year!

 I enjoy black and white photography a lot, but recently I photographed this beautiful family whose images came out really spectacular in black and white!  We got some superb color images as well, but I decided to post a series of my favorite images from the “D” family in the black and white versions!  They have been so easy to work with and little “T” is just the cutest, chubbiest bundle of adorable-ness!!  Here are a few of the previews:

These little ones were so gorgeous, and had such a great time playing at the beach while I inconspicuously snapped hundreds of images of them =)  Mom really wanted to try to capture their interactions with each other, which wasn’t too difficult because big brother was so sweet and protective of his little sister!  Here are a few favorites…these made great black and white images, didn’t they? 

 I just had to post these images from Ashley & Larry’s Trash the Dress session!  They were fantastic to work with because they were easygoing and up for anything, and as a result they ended up with some awesome images!!  I know that some of you are hesitant to try the Trash the Dress sessions, but you can always buy a separate, inexpensive dress just for this session (like Ashley did!) and still have the images to cherish.  Their wedding photos came out great too of course, but with the chaos of the day, think about how fabulous it would be to have a separate photo shoot with just you and your new husband- just to focus on the two of you…we can really get some nice shots this way.  Even if you don’t want to ”trash” your dress, you can always do a regular bridal shoot too!  A huge thank you to Larry & Ashley for making this a fantastic experience, and I hope enjoy your images for years to come!  Here’s just a few previews of some of the shots I thought came out the best…   

 In addition to our many portrait sessions and weddings, we also love our corporate clients!  We can do corporate headshots and group photos to help the image of YOUR business pop!  We love doing corporate events as well, including holiday parties, award ceremonies, anniversary celebrations- you name it, we can capture it for you!  Here are some samples of a recent corporate photo session that we did during an event at the Polo Grille in Lakewood Ranch- they have an awesome ballroom and fantastic staff by the way, if you’re ever looking for a venue for your reception or party!   We can do traditional studio shots as or a more contemporary, edgy picture, such as this: 

 Jacqueline and Michael were recently married at The Grand Plaza in St. Petersburg- and let me tell you, it is a Grand place!  Gorgeous venue, gorgeous beach, gorgeous wedding!  They had a great time, and perfect weather for their big day.  Here is a sneak peak of some of the images we took…and thanks again to Tim, who helped me capture this event and did a fantastic job (as always!).   

 We’ve had so many weddings and events this Spring, that it’s been hard to keep up with blogging!  Here are some images from earlier in the season that I haven’t gotten around to putting up from Abby and Chris’ wedding.  Let me tell you about how wonderful that these two were to work with!  So laid back- and just really, really kind hearted.  I always enjoy working with brides and grooms that are really happy and appreciative of all the we do- and in return I can be happy and appreciative that I had the oppurtunity to work with such wonderful people!  These two were married at Palma Sola Botanical Gardens in Bradenton, and they had perfect weather for their wedding day.

 I had the pleasure of taking Trent’s photos on his first birthday last week!  What a cute little guy he is, and so incredibly busy (and smart!!).  I had a great time, and mom was great to work with too.  Here are some of my favorite images from our session…Happy Birthday Trent!!!  I hope your party was super fun.

I had fun photographing this lucky couple recently for their engagement portraits!  Why are they lucky, you ask?!  They just won a contest we were having for a FREE wedding photographer 0n their big day!  They are getting married in September and I am looking forward to planning their day with them and hope to get some great images!  Congrats to the two of you- hopefully more “lucky” things will come your way!!!
